REDEVELOPMENT OF SOVIET-ERA CINEMAS

A large-scale redevelopment program transforming a portfolio of 39 former Soviet-era neighborhood cinemas across Moscow into contemporary community and commercial centers.

The redevelopment was led by ADG Group, with a unified architectural concept for the program developed by AL_A / Amanda Levete Architects. The material supply contract covered all 39 properties.

While serving as Head of Division at Siana Group, the material supplier for the program, I was responsible for the porcelain tile scope across the 39-property contract.

My work began with the architectural, technical and performance requirements established by the architects, developer and project teams. I selected appropriate materials and collections, prepared quantity calculations, and coordinated procurement and supply.

The contract represented more than 100,000 m² (1.07M+ sq ft) of porcelain tile across the complete 39-property program.

My responsibilities extended throughout the supply chain — from material selection and quantity calculation to coordination with manufacturers and suppliers, international logistics, customs-clearance processes, delivery coordination, and receiving and accepting materials at project sites.

During my tenure at Siana Group, I directly managed the material specification and supply process for six properties within the program: Angara, Baikonur, Budapest, Elbrus, Neva and Rassvet.

Materials selected for the program included Italian porcelain tile from Cooperativa Ceramica d’Imola, including Parade, LaFaenza Legno del Notaio, and other collections selected according to the requirements of individual properties.
